Friends of Ysgol y Graig (FOYG)

The Friends of Ysgol y Graig is our school’s parent–teacher fundraising and community group. Working in partnership with the school, FOYG helps to enhance pupils’ experiences by raising money, organising events, and strengthening links between families, staff, and the wider community.
All parents, carers, relatives, staff and members of the community are welcome to get involved!

What We Do
FOYG supports the school by:

• organising fun events for pupils and families
• fundraising to provide extra resources and opportunities
• helping at school celebrations and seasonal activities
• supporting whole-school projects and wellbeing initiatives
• ​building a strong sense of community

Recent contributions may include:

• playground and outdoor equipment
• leavers’ gifts and events
• books and classroom resources
• support for school trips and workshops

How to Get Involved
You can support FOYG in many ways:

• attend events
• volunteer your time (regularly or occasionally)
• share ideas and skills
• donate raffle prizes or sponsorship
• join the committee
  

No ongoing commitment is required -even helping once makes a difference.

FOYG meets throughout the year to plan activities and discuss fundraising priorities. Meeting dates and updates are shared via:
